OUR FOUNDER

Sigma's founder and principal engineer, Sina K. Nejad P.E., P.Eng., is a licensed, professional engineer with more than twenty-five years experience in local construction and building industries. Mr. Nejad received his graduate degree from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas.

Our personnel participate not only in pre-job presentations and interviews, but they are also involved in the sophisticated design process and difficult details of cost decisions and project coordination.

Sigma’s personnel have gained invaluable knowledge over the years in practical and cost-effective design and employ the latest available tools to accomplish their work. Our engineers and designers, while possessing excellent technical skills, also have strong professional capabilities because at Sigma Engineers, Inc. we seek a complete balance of technical talents and client service. This balance in performing design work is essential to the overall safety and economics of a project. All of our associates are encouraged to pursue their higher education and to participate in performing civic and community activities.

LESSONS LEARNED

Working hand-in-hand with our clients through the years we have learned many valuable lessons that we apply to each project on which we work. By maintaining a tight quality control process during the design phase, we can greatly limit problems from arising during the construction phase; however, handling problems that are encountered in the construction phase of a project will be key to ensuring its success; therefore, we have learned effective communication and team building skills to compliment our practical field construction experience.
